Forestry Mulching Across Three Adjoining Lots
Three adjoining lots totaling approximately 0.66 acres were covered with dense underbrush and numerous small trees. Over a day and a half, Dusty Roads forestry mulched the entire property, creating room for truck parking and future construction while retaining the established larger trees.
The Starting Condition
The three adjoining lots contained palmettos, dense underbrush, and many small trees. Much of the property was difficult to access or use, limiting the space available for parking trucks and planning future construction.
A particularly large number of the small trees were close to six inches in diameter. That made this 0.66-acre project more time-intensive than a typical half-acre forestry-mulching job.

The Work Performed
Dusty Roads completed the project in approximately a day and a half using a John Deere 333P compact track loader equipped with a Diamond drum mulcher.
The entire 0.66-acre area was forestry mulched—not merely selected paths or the roadside edge. Palmettos, underbrush, saplings, and the unwanted small trees were processed into mulch onsite. Because the vegetation was mulched where it stood, there was no brush pile to burn or large volume of material to haul away.
The established larger trees remained standing, preserving the wooded character of the property while opening the ground between them.

The Final Result
The three adjoining lots became open and accessible while retaining the established larger trees. The property owner gained usable room for parking trucks and could more easily plan future construction.
The processed vegetation remained onsite as a layer of mulch. No separate grading or smoothing was performed because the project’s purpose was to open the wooded property through forestry mulching rather than create bare, graded ground.
